I have many friends who ride all year round. Like my pal Hannu in Maine. But then he is of hardy Scandinavian stock (so am I but I'm a scary cat when it comes to riding on snow!).
Tomorrow morning I'm heading out on Blackie to ride down to friends Kate and Anthony in New Jersey. Spending the night there before Kate and I head out Friday morning for our ride in to Dallas. Yes, as in Dallas, Texas!
We are doing a BBG (Bun Burner Gold) which is at least 1,500 miles in no more than 24 hours. A little extreme, maybe. I'm excited! But not for the snow that is coming down right now so I'm about to do my sunshine dance and spread some warmth so it all melts!
